The project developed for the Bang & Olufsen Madrid Exclusive space at Casa Decor 2026 represents the perfect union of technology, interior design, and acoustic conditioning. Conceived by interior designer Virginia Albuja, this space was designed to convey the values ​​of one of the most iconic brands in the premium audiovisual sector: innovation, exclusivity, and excellence in the sensory experience.

In an environment where sound is paramount, acoustics acquires strategic importance. The listening experience of high-fidelity audio systems requires spaces capable of controlling sound reflections and optimizing sound perception. Therefore, Ideatec Advanced Acoustic Solutions participated in the project by integrating various advanced acoustic solutions: Pro 11 R, double PET panels, and V-cut panels.

The main objective of the intervention was to create an environment where design and acoustic performance worked together to enhance the visitor's immersive experience. The combination of different systems allowed for a holistic approach to acoustic conditioning, addressing sound absorption and reverberation control without compromising the aesthetics of the space.

The Pro 11 R system provided a high-performance acoustic solution, especially suitable for spaces where sound quality is an essential element of the experience. Its application contributed to improving acoustic definition and sound clarity, promoting more precise and balanced listening.

Meanwhile, the double PET panels incorporated an additional dimension of sustainability and contemporary design. Manufactured from recycled materials, they offer excellent acoustic performance and great creative freedom for integration into high-end interior design projects. Their presence in the space improved acoustic comfort while adding texture and visual depth.

The intervention was completed with V-cut panels, a solution that combines sound absorption and geometric design. These elements generate a strong visual impact and contribute architectural dynamism, transforming the surfaces into focal points of the project while improving the overall acoustic performance of the space.

Located in Madrid, as part of the 2026 edition of Casa Decor, this project demonstrates how acoustic solutions can become an essential part of contemporary interior design. The collaboration between Virginia Albuja and Ideatec resulted in a space where technology, architecture, and acoustics converge to create a unique experience.
