Iris Cerámica Group Restaurant by Raúl Martins - Casa Decor 2026
The project developed for the Iris Cerámica Group restaurant at Casa Decor 2026 represents a proposal where interior design, material innovation, and acoustic comfort are integrated to create a high-level gastronomic experience. Conceived by renowned interior designer Raúl Martins, the space reflects a contemporary vision of the restaurant industry, where each architectural element contributes to generating a unique and memorable atmosphere for visitors.
In this context, Ideatec Advanced Acoustic Solutions participated in the project by incorporating double PET panels, a high-performance acoustic solution designed to improve the sound quality of restaurant and hospitality spaces. This intervention optimized the restaurant's acoustic performance, reducing reverberation and creating a more comfortable environment for customers and staff.
Contemporary restaurants often face significant acoustic challenges due to the combination of hard surfaces, large volumes, high ceilings, and intense social activity. While these elements contribute to the architectural character of the space, they can also generate high levels of ambient noise that negatively impact the dining experience. Therefore, acoustic conditioning has become an essential part of interior design in premium dining spaces.
The application of double-layered PET panels effectively addressed sound absorption, improving speech intelligibility and reducing the echo effect common in high-traffic areas. Thanks to their technical composition, these systems offer excellent acoustic performance while maintaining a light and contemporary aesthetic that integrates seamlessly into the restaurant's design.
In addition to their functional benefits, PET panels represent a solution aligned with current trends in sustainable architecture and responsible interior design. Manufactured from recycled materials, they contribute to improving the project's environmental performance while providing an elegant and versatile finish.
Located in Madrid, the Iris Cerámica Group restaurant is conceived as a space where innovative materials and interior design create a complete user experience. The integration of acoustic solutions enhances this experience, creating more welcoming environments and fostering more natural interaction among diners.
This project demonstrates how acoustics can become a strategic element in contemporary interior architecture. Ideatec's intervention has transformed the space into a more comfortable and functional environment, aligned with the highest standards of design, sustainability, and well-being. The combination of Raúl Martins' creative vision and Ideatec's advanced acoustic solutions has resulted in a project that unites aesthetics, innovation, and technical excellence in the hospitality sector.
