Casa Decor 2024, Galeria 1Mira
The project developed at the Galería 1Mira Madrid during Casa Decor 2024 represents an intervention where acoustics are fully integrated into an exhibition environment of high artistic and architectural value. Casa Decor is one of the most relevant interior design events on the national scene, where each space is conceived as a unique proposal combining design, innovation, and sensory experience.
In this context, Ideatec Advanced Acoustic Solutions participated in improving acoustic comfort through the application of acoustic die-cut panels integrated into the gallery's design. This solution addresses the acoustic needs of the space without sacrificing the project's visual expressiveness, providing a balance between technical functionality and aesthetic value.
The project, designed by the Personal K team for 1Mira Madrid in the field of architecture and interior design, presented an exhibition space with a strong visual identity, where materials, lighting, and spatial composition played a leading role. In these types of environments, acoustics are often a critical factor due to the presence of reflective surfaces and high visitor numbers.
The die-cut panels installed by Ideatec provide a versatile solution that controls reverberation through high-performance acoustic perforated patterns, while maintaining a customizable aesthetic consistent with the interior design language. Their sound absorption capacity contributes to creating a more balanced atmosphere, enhancing the visitor's experience within the exhibition space.
The project was developed in Madrid as part of Casa Decor 2024, where creative competition between spaces demands discreet yet effective technical solutions. The acoustic intervention allows visitors to perceive the space more comfortably, reducing auditory fatigue and favoring the appreciation of the design.
Photographic documentation of the project was carried out by Amador Toril, capturing the relationship between materiality, light, and acoustics within the gallery.
This project reinforces Ideatec's ability to collaborate on high-level interior design projects where acoustics become an essential part of spatial design. The intervention at Galería 1Mira Madrid demonstrates how die-cut panels can provide both technical and aesthetic value in landmark cultural and exhibition spaces.
