Club Nora Restaurant

The project developed at Club Nora Restaurant in 2020 in Barcelona represents an acoustic intervention aimed at significantly improving the user experience in an environment of high social and gastronomic activity. In contemporary dining spaces, acoustic quality has become a key factor for customer comfort, directly influencing the perception of the atmosphere, communication between diners, and the duration of their stay.

In this context, Ideatec Advanced Acoustic Solutions carried out the installation of the Ideacustic Standard 32 system, applied to both the ceilings and walls of the restaurant. This acoustic solution is designed to offer high sound absorption capacity in medium and high frequencies, effectively reducing the reverberation generated by the combination of hard surfaces, high occupancy, and the constant activity typical of an urban restaurant.

The main objective of the project was to control ambient noise levels without compromising the interior aesthetics of the venue. In modern restaurants like Club Nora, the image of the space is as important as its functionality; therefore, the solution had to be integrated discreetly and coherently with the existing architectural design.

The application of Ideacustic Standard 32 on ceilings and walls allowed for the transformation of the overall acoustics of the space, creating a more balanced, comfortable environment suitable for conversation. The reduction of reverberation improves speech intelligibility, decreases auditory fatigue for customers, and contributes to a more pleasant and relaxed dining experience.

The project, located in Barcelona, demonstrates the importance of incorporating acoustic solutions from the design or renovation phase in hospitality spaces.
