Ideatec at Casa Decor 2026: when sound shapes space

Casa Decor 2026 has once again confirmed its position as the most demanding showcase for interior design in Spain. In this edition, Ideatec has been present in four standout spaces, conceived by some of the most relevant studios and brands on the national and international scene.

Casa Decor 2026 has once again confirmed its position as the most demanding showcase for interior design in Spain. In this edition, Ideatec has been present in four standout spaces, conceived by some of the most relevant studios and brands on the national and international scene — not as a technical resource relegated to the functional level, but as an element of architectural language, with its own aesthetic identity and the capacity to engage with each project.

The magazine Tendencias Diseño captured it precisely: "The Alicante-based company Ideatec conquers Casa Decor 2026", highlighting the brand's role as a benchmark in high-end acoustic solutions for singular spaces.

What follows is a journey through the four projects in which Ideatec has participated this year.

Iris Cerámica space designed by Raúl Martins — Restaurant «The Silent Chapel»

Raúl Martins' proposal for the Iris Cerámica space starts from a premise of restraint: allowing the original architecture of the chapel to reclaim its prominence. The contemporary intervention acts as a serene and precise layer, redefining without altering.

The space has been conceived as a sensory experience: visitors do not merely walk through it, but interact with its textures, perceive contrasts and allow themselves to be enveloped by the tension between the historical force of the place and the serenity of the intervention.

In this context, Ideatec accompanies the design with Ideaflow Double PET panels in a travertine-effect finish, designed by Raúl Martins Studio itself. A precise example of how product customisation makes it possible to respond to the specific needs of each project, integrating naturally into the aesthetic of the space without sacrificing acoustic performance.

Valpaint space designed by Miguel Muñoz — Auditorium «Opulus»

«Opulus» does not seek discretion. Miguel Muñoz defines this auditorium as a Sanctuary of Geometric Opulence, rooted in the Neo-Deco trend with a lean towards retrofuturism. Rhythmic repetition as a compositional principle, light as the definer of space, and the deliberate tension between the cold (stone, metallic paints) and the warm (velvet, bouclé, carpet) come together to create a space of strong presence and timeless ambition.

To ensure that this space — designed for continuous interaction — also functions as a place of clear listening, Ideatec has integrated PET acoustic baffles on the ceiling of the common area, in a navy black finish, alongside white PET skirting panels installed on the lateral walls of the auditorium. Solutions that control reverberation, improve sound clarity during presentations and reduce ambient noise — all without compromising the visual boldness of the project.

Bang & Olufsen space designed by Virginia Albuja — «The Sound Club by Bang & Olufsen»

One hundred years of Bang & Olufsen history are condensed into an immersive space that transforms technology into an aesthetic, emotional and cultural experience. The proposal turns the entrance area into a meeting point between past and present: fabrics and acoustic materials create an enveloping atmosphere, mirrors expand the space perceptually, and a lattice structure engages in dialogue with the original architecture through a combination of stone and metal that balances tradition and modernity.

Intervening in a protected space demands both sensitivity and precision. Ideatec responds with three differentiated solutions according to each point along the route: grooved panels in RAL Ideacustic Pro11R finish in the main room; Ideaflow Double PET on the walls of the entrance hall; and Ideaflow Canal V, combined with mirrors, on the wall of the antechamber. A set of solutions that optimises the acoustic behaviour of the space throughout the entire visitor journey, ensuring a clear and comfortable sonic experience even in the highest-traffic areas.

Interior designer Virginia Albuja, responsible for the space, puts it plainly:

"Working with Ideatec is always a privilege, especially as all their products include design and customisation options, allowing for any level of personalisation, so it wasn't a challenge at all."

Neolith space designed by Personal K — Living-library «Entre superficies y palabras» (Between Surfaces and Words)

Studio Personal K's proposal for Neolith is a space of memory and permanence: a living-library where time seems to stand still and every element — books, cherished objects, old photographs, textures — carries meaning.

Sustainability here is no rhetorical argument: the space has been designed so that 85% of the cladding and all of the furniture can be reused, with wall panelling adaptable to rooms of different sizes.

Ideatec integrates Idealux FL in PET with a travertine-effect finish on the ceiling, and completes the proposal with Ideaflow Islas in rectangular format in terracotta. A combination that brings chromatic warmth and acoustic control, entirely in keeping with a space conceived from emotion and permanence.

Studio Personal K summarises the collaboration this way:

"We discovered the technical and aesthetic qualities that Ideatec has to offer. Its versatility allows us to bring all our designs to life using this highly versatile material, with its beautiful range of colours."

Four spaces, one shared conviction

What Casa Decor 2026 demonstrates, once again, is that acoustic comfort and aesthetic excellence are not competing variables — they are natural allies when working with materials that offer genuine customisation capability. Ideatec has been present in conceptually opposing spaces — the restrained sobriety of a restored chapel, the geometric opulence of a Neo-Deco auditorium, the cultural immersion of a centenary installation, the evocative intimacy of a library — and in every one of them it has responded with solutions that are technically sound and aesthetically coherent with each project.

That, precisely, is the hallmark of a material that has ceased to be a resource and become an argument for design.
