Showroom José Martínez Medina
The project developed at the José Martínez Medina showroom in Madrid in 2024 represents an acoustic intervention designed to enhance the user experience in a contemporary exhibition space, where interior design, environmental comfort, and product perception form part of a single unified experience. In showrooms and exhibition areas, acoustic quality is a key element in generating pleasant atmospheres, favoring communication, and reinforcing a sense of exclusivity and well-being.
In this intervention, Ideatec Advanced Acoustic Solutions implemented the Idealux FL system, applied as an integrated acoustic solution for the showroom's interior ceilings. This system stands out for its ability to reduce reverberation and improve the acoustic behavior of spaces without altering the architectural aesthetics or interior design.
The main challenge of the project was to intervene in a space conceived for the exhibition of furniture and design, where hard surfaces, noble materials, and open spaces predominate—all of which tend to generate sound reflections and ambient noise. The acoustic solution had to be integrated discreetly, maintaining the visual clarity and elegant character of the showroom.
The application of Idealux FL allowed for the optimization of sound absorption within the space, creating a more balanced and comfortable environment for visitors, clients, and professionals. The reduction of reverberation significantly improves the experience during meetings, presentations, and showroom tours, promoting clearer communication and a more pleasant spatial perception.
The project, located in Madrid, reflects the growing importance of acoustic conditioning in high-end commercial and exhibition spaces. In these environments, acoustics serve not only a technical function but also directly influence the emotional experience of the user and the perceived quality of the space.
Furthermore, the Idealux FL system provides great aesthetic and functional versatility, allowing it to adapt to different architectural configurations without interfering with the prominence of the exhibited items. Its integration into the ceilings helps maintain a contemporary, elegant image consistent with the showroom's identity.
This project reinforces Ideatec's ability to develop advanced acoustic solutions for commercial and interior design spaces, where technique and aesthetics must work in tandem. The intervention at the José Martínez Medina showroom demonstrates how applied acoustics can elevate environmental quality and enhance the user experience in high-level contemporary exhibition spaces.
