The Ideatec Auditorium is an innovative venue that has been designed using state-of-the-art materials to offer visitors a unique acoustic experience. Specifically, the wall cladding and suspended ceiling slats are made from 9 mm polyester fibre panels by Ideaflow.
The most interesting thing about these panels is that they are made from 70% recycled plastic sourced from PET bottles. As a result, 30,256 bottles have been recycled to manufacture the 220 panels that make up the installation. In addition to their environmental benefits, these panels offer excellent sound-absorbing and non-reflective properties.

The use of polyester fibre on the ceiling and walls gives the Auditorium a sense of acoustic comfort that is immediately apparent upon entering the space. But the innovation does not end there: the decorative details are also made from the same material. The sliding panels from the SILENT range, which cover the light inlets from the balconies and windows, help to control and filter the light during events.
Finally, the Idealux FL panel is worth highlighting: a wall and ceiling cladding comprising two materials—a 9mm polyester fibre panel and wooden slats with an oak finish. This panel has been used on the speakers’ podium, the structural bench and the stage floor of the Auditorium, creating a cohesive and elegant atmosphere.
